Eleanor Mullin, age 91, passed away on September 14, 2016 at Our Lady of Mercy Health and Rehab in Lake Linden.
Eleanor was born to William and Marcella (Trombley) Thurner on April 3, 1925 in Ramsay, Michigan.
She was united in marriage to Joseph Mullin on September 29, 1954.
She worked for Briggs & Stratton in Milwaukee as a machine operator for 21 years. After retiring from Briggs & Stratton she moved to Rice Lake. Eleanor was avid crafter. When she wasn’t working on crafts she loved to feed the wildlife in her back yard.
Eleanor was preceded in death by: her parents; Son in Law; Richard, Brothers; Eugene, Marvin, Jerry, and George.

Husband: Joe Mullin of Lake Linden
Son: Eugene (Gail) Frank of Baltic
Daughter: Darlene Filter of Rice Lake
Brother: Ken Thurner of Alabama
Sister: Joan Bedore of Milwaukee
8 grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren, 8 great great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, September 17, 2016 at 1:00 PM at the Erickson Crowley Peterson Funeral Home in Calumet with Father John Martignon to officiate.
Visitation will take place one hour prior to service starting at 12:00 PM.
Burial will take place at the Lake View Cemetery in Calumet.
