  Dear Lois and family:

I just learned about Marvin's passing and I am so sorry to hear this sad news. I so enjoyed meeting my distant cousin Marvin at the Manninen family reunion in Kuusamo in 2005 and particularly enjoyed the dinner we had the last night at the hotel. We were a much smaller group and got to know each other a bit better. Marvin was such a big part of the American "delegation" at the reunion. Please know you are all in my thoughts and prayers.
Love, Lori

My thoughts and prayers are with you. Marv walked up to me at a conference and spoke Finnish to me, that is how I had the opportunity to share a small part of his life. He was a very kind man and spoke highly of his family. He shared his Finnland travel stories, which I enjoyed, having never been there. He will missed. May you find comfort in you memories and the love you shared.
