Paul “Butch” Meyer, 62, s resident of Calumet passed away at the Houghton County Medical Care Facility on February 10, 2010.
He was born on August 6, 1947 in Caro, MI a son of Paul Henry and Eloise (Harmon) Meyer.
Paul enjoyed fishing, hunting and spending time with family at his camp in Rabbit Bay.
He had a passion for old cars, NASCAR and motorcycles.
On January 15, 2005 he was married to the former Kathy Mattila.
He was preceded in death by his father Paul and a brother Tom

Daughters: Paula Meyer of Caro
Lisa Meyer of Colorado
Savannah Meyer of Escanaba
1 Granddaughter Harmony Meyer of Caro, MI
His mother: Eloise
Brother: Mike (Kathy) Meyer of Mayville, MI
Sister: Sharron (Allen) Popp of Mayville, MI
Step Sons: Jason and Jared Mattila of Calumet
Numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday February 20, 2010 at 1:00 PM in the Calumet United Methodist Church with Rev. Bob White to officiate.

I was very sorry to hear about Paul. He put up a brave battle. I have prior commitments Saturday so I cannot attend the service. The family, especially Kathy and his mother have my deepest sympothy. |
