My sympathy to the family of Clayton. I thought of him several times during the recent Houghton County Fair when I walked through the horse barn. Clayton was always willing to help me when I first started showing draft horses at the county fair. We shared many good horse stories over the years. May he rest in peace!

To Clayton's family I would like to offer my deepest sympathy. I am very glad I got to know him during my younger years showing at the Houghton County Fair. I was one of the lucky ones who got to ride one of his Clydes at the fair grounds one year. I so enjoyed visiting with him during fair time. He became a friend to my whole family. I was just thinking of him the other day when I had seen a picture of a Clydesdale. He sure loved those horses. Once again, you have my deepest sympathy.
