Anita Roux, age 76, of Calumet passed away on Monday, August 28, 2017 at the Omega House in Houghton.
Anita was born to Hubert and Clarice (Brevik) Roux on September 16, 1940 in Laurium.
She attended Calumet High School Graduating with the class of 1958 and after graduation was employed by the Merchants and Miners Bank, retiring after 35 years of service.
She was a very active member of Faith Lutheran Church and served as the church organist for the last 51 years.
Anita was involved with the Ecumenical Prayer group. She was also the organizer of the Faith Lutheran Church nursing home visits.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Surviving are sister Bonnie (Jim) Foley of Bloomington, Minnesota
Nephews: Steven (Angie) Foley Minneapolis, Minnesota and their children Ethan and Emma
Scott (Sarah) Foley of Lakeville, Minnesota, and their children Sawyer and Samuel
A funeral service will be held at the Faith Lutheran Church on Monday, September 11, 2017 at 11:00 AM with Reverend Tim Johnston officiating.
Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service starting at 10:00 AM in the church.
Burial will take place at the Lake View Cemetery in Calumet.
In lieu of other expressions of sympathy memorial contributions may be made out the Faith Lutheran Church, at 26016 Depot Street, Calumet, MI 49913
